Located in West Des Moines, this new artist studio was designed and executed by Peter P. Goché while employed as project architect for HLKB Architects in 1998. Using pre-engineered metal building assembly and precast concrete panels, this 27,000 sf industrial facility serves as artisan factory to produce nationally acclaimed furniture, home accessories and object art. An intensive operations survey and holistic fabrication/operations analysis conducted by Goché/HLKB was conducted prior to design and development of the distinctive building configuration and site location.
