Moment of Silver

Moment of Silver was developed as an experimental meditation enclosure open to the world above. Consisting of birch plywood and a set of horizontal wood stabilizers, the freestanding construct is closed off by a Knoll silver screen sheer curtain. The figural arrangement of the plywood paneling provides a visual pattern of support in our daily quest to see and perceive our immediate surrounding. The attenuated horizontal stabilizers and delicate porosity and softness of the curtain connect the occupational space to the sensuous nature of the world beyond. Photographer: Cameron Campbell
